Standards and Regulatory Guidelines

The table above displays the Arizona Regional Screening Levels for Lead (Pb) and Arsenic (As) set by the Environmental Protection Agency.
Additionally, the EPA states that if the screening level exceeds 3 times the RSL, it is required to be remediated.
The analysis below contains data screened against the non-residential screening levels.

The table above displays the Ecological Screening Levels set by the EPA for identified contaminants of concern for the local ecology.
All items highlighted in pink indicate that the legal limit is below the average reading, indicating that these contaminant concentrations would require treatment.

The analysis below contains data screened against the most conservative levels of contaminants.
This results in 11 ppm for Lead and 18 ppm for Arsenic.

Resource Recovery

This team was tasked with performing an assessment of what resources can be recovered for value from the site.
The table below is a display of the estimated market value of the constituents in the soil with the most value as determined by the team.

The venues of recovering these resources could include: Milling, Phytoremediation, or Soil Washing.
The team was not assigned with creating a design for this process.
