NAU Mechanical Engineering Capstone 2024–25
The objective of this project is to develop a hip-mounted robotic arm that supports upper-body rehabilitation for stroke survivors. By providing assistive movement and controlled resistance, the device aims to promote motor recovery and improve functional independence. Our team is focused on creating a solution that is not only effective in therapy, but also lightweight, comfortable, and easy to integrate into daily life.
