About Evergreen Systems
A Northern Arizona University CS capstone team building automated commerce connectors that help Generous onboard merchants faster, without manual catalog exports or data inconsistencies.
Who We Are
Evergreen Systems is a four-person NAU Computer Science capstone team sponsored by Kyle Montgomery, CEO & Co-Founder of Generous, and mentored by Nazmul Hossain.
Our project delivers native Salesforce Commerce Cloud and Shopify plugins that automate merchant catalog ingestion into Generous's AI-powered gifting marketplace, replacing slow, error-prone manual exports with a secure, scalable pipeline.
- • Modular, versioned API-first architecture
- • OAuth 2.0 security with strict merchant data isolation
- • Test-driven development with 169 passing unit tests
Our Mission
Automate how merchants connect to Generous, eliminating manual catalog management so merchants onboard faster and Generous can scale its marketplace without increasing operational overhead.
Our Vision
A connector architecture extensible enough to support any commerce platform, from Salesforce and Shopify today, to BigCommerce, Adobe Commerce, and Zapier tomorrow, all feeding into one Universal Product Schema.

Our Values
Reliability First
TDD, schema validation, and integration testing are built into every development cycle, not added at the end. We design for correctness and stability.
Merchant Empathy
Connectors live inside the tools merchants already use. Setup, configuration, and error states must be clear for both technical and non-technical operators.
Security by Design
OAuth 2.0 and Stytch M2M authentication enforce strict merchant data isolation at every API boundary, so no merchant can access another's catalog or job data.
