We conducted comprehensive research on existing energy management solutions to identify market gaps and opportunities:

EnergyHub: Focuses on residential energy management with limited campus integration capabilities. While it offers good user analytics, it lacks the gamification elements crucial for student engagement.

Campus Energy Dashboard: Provides institutional-level energy monitoring but offers minimal student-facing features. The interface is primarily designed for facility managers rather than end users.

EcoMeter: A mobile app for personal energy tracking with basic social features. However, it doesn't integrate with institutional energy systems or provide real-time campus data.

Our solution bridges these gaps by combining real-time campus energy data with engaging, gamified user experiences specifically designed for the student demographic.
