Interdisciplinary Projects

This following projects are interdisciplinary projects which bring together Capstone teams from several disciplines. These are great for those wanting to work at the boundary where CS touches another discipline, requiring that you develop some new skills to connect. Details:

• Projects are carefully designed to be maximally "de-coupled". This means that the disciplinary subteams can each work largely independently to avoid impeded/slowing each other. The aim is to bring the results together smoothly in the end to present the complete product -- but each subteam also has clear, independent delivery goals that form the basis of their grades.
• If selected, the project teams will be "hosted" in either one or the other Capstone programs for a number of administrative purposes. This just means that the entire team will live by the rules/syllabus of the hosting discipline.
• For each project, the estimated size of the CS subteam is listed.
