At our most recent group meeting, we allocated reserach responsibilities. Each member of the group will become an expert for a certain part of our finished product.
Rob Allred is researching the kernel requirement and the kernels available for the HC12 microcontroller.
Makia Minich is researching the various protocols the product will support (SCI, CAN 2.0, J1850).
Ben Komada will research the PCMCIA interface requirements and issues.
Derek Flint will research the RS232 interface requirements and issues. Derek will also maintain our web page for CSE449/CSE486.
Dave Swanson will research the LCD interface requirements and issues.
Each person will master, to the best of their ability, their particular portion of the project, as well as educate the others in summary fashion. Thus, every member will have passing knowledge of every part of the project.
