Ok here we are again. The official report from the Chrysler Team your one and
only news source for the happening world of capstone design.
- Ben Komada - been working on lots of documentation. The As Built Document, The Capstone Presentation, The As built Presentation. Finishing up the menu system and helping dave create the functions that will connect the network data to the screen.
- Dave Swanson - Coding like the devil. Working on final touches of the API. Helping with the as built document. Working on finishing up the mempry mapping and filter masks for the network message selections. Dave has just finished the complete conversion of the software to C so that there are no problems with the cross compiler.
- Derek Flint - Our man on the cross compiler. Derke has been working on the cross compiler to make usre that all our code will work on the HC12 controller. This is one of the testing phases to ensure that we have not incorporated any instructions that are too complicated for this controller to handle. His current task is to find a way to incorporate network messages into the cross compiling to do some additional testing of operation on the cross compiled software. Derek is also working on the official users manuel of the software. Look for a fresh copy at a local book store near you soon.
- Makia Minich - Mr. Protocol, Makia has been working on finishing his protocol buffer and network message software and is completing the integration of this with the main API. He has also finished the merging of his message protocol with the main program.
- Rob Allred - Rob has been with the flags for setting which network messages are to be monitored and memory mapping for the complete controll of where the final program executes instructions and stores data. His current task is to work out some low level functions that will be used in the next phase of the project and to map out what are the most importaint tastk that need to be completed after we're done.
Overall debugging and testing has been ongoing as each succesive part of the
program is completed and no problems concerning the development have been
encountered that have lead to any setbacks in our schedule. We will be
finishing the As Built Presentation and working our Capstone Presentation and
Capstone Standee for the conference this weekend. Supplies and initial plans
for the standee and presentation are already completed.
