Review status of the project:
- Dave - Developed menu engine on the functional simulator, sketched out some
functionality for the API
- Rob - Got Cosmic emulation environment installed, awaiting license so we can
compile files bigger than 2Kb.
- Ben - Developed menu system, which has been converted to the functional sim
- Makia - Largely completed and tested message decoding tables/algorithm and
the basic code for message lookup
- Derek - Undertaking in-depth PCMCIA research for implementation in the
hardware design
New tasks to be assigned:
- Dave - Update functional sim engine for heirarchical menus, implement
automotive network data injection so we can test operation
- Rob - unit test individual modules, work with whoever is writing code to
generate abbreviated files for <2Kb testing (proof of concept, proper
compilation, etc.)
- Ben - Revise the menu to minimize menu depth, revise presentation for next
Wednesday
- Makia - Update website with new documents, try to figure out some bogus data
file to use when we have the capability
- Derek - Gather PCMCIA research documents (specs, protocol, hardware,
suppliers, etc) in a 3-ring binder for reference in the lab
All these things should be done by Spring break AT THE LATEST. Everyone,
RESPOND to me with verification or updates to these statuses (statii?) and
assignments by Thursday. If I've forgotten anything, please let me know and
we'll put it in the official minutes we present to Wecker and put on the web
page. The information in this status report was written down while eating
pie, so don't mind the chocolate stains.
