Technologies
Android Studio
We designed the application for our project in Android Studio, an IDE for creating Android apps with an emulator to simulate the app running on an actual device. It serves as an alternative way to run Flutter, the framework that both ArchaeoSight 1.0 and 2.0 are developed in.
Flutter + Dart
The core framework and language with which our app is written in.
AirDroid
An Android-managed application that facilitates wireless communication between our app and users' pXRF devices.
QGIS
The geographical information system (GIS) program that is used to display 3D models in real time. This integrates well with many archaeologists' current workflow.
GitHub
We use GitHub for code storage, collaboration, issue tracking, and version control.
