Big Beam competition is held by the Precast/ Prestressed Concrete Institute (PCI) to challenge up and coming practicing engineers to design a beam given constraints. Participants will understand the development of prestressed concrete beams. Teams will analyze and predict their beam's behavior of cracking, ultimate strength, and deflection.
