Project background
Developing an insulated dry-stacked modular block made from local materials (e.g. small diameter timber, cinders).The proposed design will meet modern demands of building construction. Currently insulated modular blocks made with wood fiber aggregate are available in limited markets. Exisiting systems are made of approximentally 15% to 25% cement and 75% to 85% wood fibers. These blocks are not structural.
